This is an analysis of the development through the making of construction documents of Brooks + Scarpa's Solar Umbrella residence, the personal residential dwelling of the Architect duo. Surrounded by single-story bungalow's, Solar Umbrella is a two-story addition which utilizes net-zero strategies of both active and passive solar design.
