Beginning with the diagrammatic study of symmetry and asymmetrical proportions of Santa Maria della Consolazione located in Todi, Italy; the resulting diagram is then re-interpreted through Grasshopper parametric scripting into a form which serves as the basis for the exterior shell of an Olympic aquatics center. The interior of Cascata Acquatici is then developed through carving methods derived from the plan diagrams of the aquatics center with the ground floor housing an Olympic regulation diving pool.
